Due to the need for maintenance personnel to frequently access roof areas at Longford Park School in Greater Manchester, Eurosafe Solutions Ltd recommended the installation of two Ascent Step Over Units.

These units, also referred to as “up & over” step units, are designed to provide safe passage over obstacles, such as roof parapets, allowing for easy access during planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.

The Ascent Step Over Units can accommodate spans of up to 4.5 meters, offering a reliable access solution. Each unit is supported by rubber spreader feet, which provide a non-penetrative and secure support system on the flat, single-ply membrane roof.

Designed in compliance with BS EN ISO 14122-1:2001 + A1:2010 and Building Regulation Part K:2013, the units are manufactured under 1090 factory production control procedures and are CE/UKCA marked.
