SATIR MinIR series

Designed for one handed operation, the MinIR is the leading entry level thermal camera in the marketplace. The advanced UFPA detector used in MinIR has a high (80mk) thermal sensitivity which generates clear and accurate thermal images. MinIR’s multi-function design meets the requirement for various applications and industries.

The advanced UFPA detector used in MinIR has a high (80mk) thermal sensitivity which generates clear and accurate thermal images. MinIR’s multi-function design meets the requirement for various applications and industries. The system is comprised of a rugged housing, a calibrated thermal sensor, a germanium lens assembly and measurement modes and functions to help perform an inspection.

The ULIS thermal sensor is an uncooled 80 x 60 or 100 x 80 (depending on the model) UFPA Microbolometer that operates in the long wave length (8 to 14 microns) providing highly sensitive and real-time thermal imaging at lower costs. The system is controlled via direct access buttons for common functions such as level and span, image save, image freeze, laser pointer, plus a simple menu system for configuration. A fully rotating screen is fitted for working in almost any environment and location, thus ensuring the end user can always see the screen. An innovative ergonomic upright design allows easy access to the screen and camera controls making the MinIR a simple point and shoot system.

SATIR software for the MinIR cameras has been designed for basic operation and conversion of the thermal image into Jpeg or BMP formats. Measurement functions include multiple moveable spots, minimum, maximum and average temperatures. These features allow the thermographer to make quick and accurate adjustments to the image prior to exporting the data. Thermal image can either be exported to clipboard or printed in a pre-designed template that includes the analysis table.
