Wallbarn have supplied their Ipe Timber Tiles for a location in Romania.

The client was concerned there wouldn’t be enough room underneath the tiles, as the area can experience extreme hot and cold weather.

The minimum height that the tiles can work with is 35mm which is lower than the client needed to go, so Wallbarn settled on a fixed height 14mm pad.

To protect against the extreme weather the tiles were then treated with a generic wood preserve on site, giving them a rich and luxurious finish.
