As part of a wider programme of improvements, the Roehampton Club commissioned the construction of a new first-floor terrace overlooking its gardens and golf course. The newly built 275 sqm structure extended the existing building with a cantilevered steel frame to create a larger outdoor space for members. Wallbarn was engaged to supply a complete Class A fire-rated decking system, providing the technical assurance and aesthetic quality required for a high-profile private club.

The terrace build-up combined MetalPad Ex pedestals, aluminium Box Rails and Teca-coloured Exadeck porcelain decking, all fully non-combustible and compliant with current fire regulations. Wallbarn collaborated closely with the project’s architects, engineers and contractors to refine layouts, manage level variations and ensure seamless detailing across the new structure. The completed terrace delivers a durable, elegant and fully fire-rated outdoor environment designed for long-term performance.
