Safety at height specialist Eurosafe partnered with a South Yorkshire customer to address the need for secure access to the roof via a roof hatch.

To meet this requirement, Eurosafe specified an Ascent fixed ladder, enhancing its safety features by incorporating a vertical rail-based fall protection system. This system ensures workers are safeguarded while using the ladder.

The Ascent™ ladder also includes a ladder-up post, designed to assist users as they ascend and descend through the roof access hatch.

Eurosafe's team installed the ladder in line with comprehensive installation guidelines. The ladder is designed and tested to comply with BS EN 14122-4:2016 standards and is manufactured at Safety Fabrications' Sheffield facility to CE/UKCA certifications under BS EN 1090 procedures.
