Class A1 Fire Rated Paving Pedestals - MetalPad EX
Non-combustible, fully adjustable, Class A1 pedestal specially designed for fire-rated high-rise balconies, terraces and flat roofs.

• Made from 100% class A1 thick galvanised steel
• No plastic or rubber components
• Optional self-levelling headpiece up to 5% movement in all directions*

Class A2-s1, d0 Fire Rated Decking Pedestals - MetalPad P & MetalPad D
Non-combustible, fully adjustable, Class A2-s1, d0 pedestal specially designed for high-rise balconies, terraces and flat roofs.

Key Benefits
• Classified A2-s1,d0 in accordance with BS EN 13501-1:2018
• Physically tested and compliant to BS EN ISO 1716:2018
• Physically tested in accordance with procedure specified in BS EN 13823:2020
• Made from 100% thick galvanised steel

• Self-levelling headpiece up to 5% movement in all directions
• Solid stem for superior weight tolerance
• Over 2 tonnes weight tolerance per pedestal
• 150mm diameter circular base plate

Non-Combustible Decking

Aluminium Decking
Wallbarn Aluminium Decking is lightweight, non-combustible and low maintenance system which has been designed with the practicalities of everyday living in mind. It is suitable for a range of applications including high rise balconies, roof terraces and walkways.

This decking meets and is tested to EN 13501-1 / A2,s1-do.

Cement Fibre
This is a non-combustible fibre cement deck board with the natural appearance of timber. It is hard wearing and requires little maintenance. It meets A2-S1, D0 and A1fl ratings for fire regulation BS EN 13501-1. Suitable for balconies, terraces and rooftops on medium to high-rise residential schemes as part of the retro-fit fire safety refurbishment schemes.

Porcelain Decking
Exadeck Class A1 Porcelain Decking boards are extruded and rectified premium quality porcelain boards measuring 1200 x 150mm suitable for all Residential & Commercial decking projects including Class A balcony and terrace construction.

Used in conjunction with our Class A1 Substructure using compatible clips and fixings, it allows for individual tiles to be removed, allowing access to the sub-floor/membrane for maintenance or servicing. beautiful and durable decking systems can be created on subdecks for long term superior appearance and performance with the assurance of string, load bearing under structure platforms specifically designed to complement the decking material.

Fixings & Heads
The MetalPad-Ex Fire Class A1 Fire Rated Pedestal offers remarkable adaptability, boasting an array of connections and fixings tailored to your specific project requirements.

For paving a specially designed 4 way, 3 way or 2 way lugged headpiece of the same dimensions as the headpiece of the pedestal is screwed into place via a torx screw.

The Met-Ex Rail Clip fixes to the head of the MetalPad Ex Pedestal, allowing all Wallbarn Aluminium rails/joists to be simply clipped into place without the need for mechanical fixing.

The I-Plus Range of Wallbarn’s aluminium rail/joists have an extruded profile at the bottom of each rail to accomodate an M8 Bolt which is secured with a wingnut to the pedestal head.

Fire Rated Fixings
Wallbarn has a number of options for fixing fire rated decking boards to it’s substructure with self-drilling stainless steel screws which are coated black to prevent any shiny silver colour showing up between the boards.
