Non-Fire Rated Fixed Height Pedestals
5mm Fixed Height
Durable PVC discs for elevating paving slabs or timber decking off waterproofing. Hard-wearing, non-slip surface, providing acoustic benefits and protection against brittleness in cold weather. Cross spacers available.
7mm Fixed Height
Hard-wearing PVC pad with integrated lugs for paving or decking. Ideal for low threshold areas and retro-fit projects. Built-in drainage channels and a special headpiece for timber joists or paving slabs.
9mm Fixed Height
Tough, flexible rubber pads with excellent sound and vibration insulation. Weight tolerance of 8 tonnes. Grooved surface allows drainage, with integrated lugs for secure paving spacing.
14mm & 17mm Fixed Height
Moulded & lightweight HDPE pedestals, designed for rapid installation of paving or decking. Reduces weight on roofs, requires no mortar, and can be easily snapped for detailed corner or wall placement. Supports up to 1,000kg per pad.
Class A Fire-Rated Fixed Height Pedestals
10mm, 15mm & 20mm Fixed Height
These aluminium pedestals offer a cost-effective solution for projects requiring Class A fire compliance (EN 13501-1:2018, BS 8579). Designed to resist corrosion and rust, they are compatible with both paving and decking systems, with a weight tolerance exceeding 20 tonnes per pad. Optional Spreader Plate is available for vulnerable sub-floors such as roofing membranes and insulation.

Accessories for Enhanced Functionality
Metal Edge Plate
The Metal Edge Plate is designed to support and position tiles and slabs up against walls and parapets. It is loose-laid onto the headpiece of each pedestal, holding two tiles while maintaining correct spacing and supporting the overhanging sections. This ensures clean lines and attractive finishes on terraces, podiums, and flat roofs. The bullnose angle of the plate can be adjusted to create a 10mm gap between paving and walls, as required by building guidelines, allowing for adequate drainage.
Rubber Crumb Acoustic Pad
The Rubber Crumb Pad provides both protection and acoustic insulation. This 5mm thick, 200 x 200mm pad is placed between the sub-deck and the baseplates of pedestals to protect against compression and point loading, while reducing sound transmission from pedestrian traffic.
Levelling Shims
Available in 1mm, 2mm, and 3mm thicknesses, Levelling Shims are ideal for making minor adjustments to achieve a flat, even surface. They compensate for slab thickness variations or irregularities in the deck surface. Shims are made from strong HDPE and can be stacked or snapped apart into quarters or halves for precise adjustments.
Acoustic Shims
The Acoustic Shims are circular shims, 2.5mm thick, made from PVC to reduce sound and vibration transfer to the roof deck below. They provide effective noise and vibration control, particularly beneficial for terraces or walkways constructed above residential properties, enhancing the experience for occupants.
Cross Spacers
The Cross Spacers are a cost-effective solution for increasing drainage gaps between paving slabs or ensuring additional separation guides. Available in 3mm, 4mm, and 5mm thicknesses, these polypropylene spacers fit at the junction between four slabs, ensuring proper alignment and straight lines. They are loose-fitting and can be inserted wherever extra separation is needed.
