Residential Appeal, Commercial Capability

While the simplicity and appearance of M-Tray® make it a popular choice for homeowners and residential schemes, the real strength of the system is in its performance at scale. On the Crumlin, Caerphilly, South Wales project, the architect originally specified a roll-out solution but opted for M-Tray® after considering its:

• Physically tested fire compliance (B ROOF t4) – No assumptions were necessary. Wallbarn were able to provide independent test certificates by Warrington Fire.

Wallbarn also provided support on sloping roof design, working with the structural team to prevent green roof slippage and ensure waterproofing integrity. In this scenario, battens were fixed to the roof structure and the Protec waterproofing system was installed over the top to give a fully watertight finish.
