Mapei is thrilled to announce that its UK Halesowen manufacturing facility has received OHSAS 18001 certification.
The international Occupational Health and Safety Management System specification, which assists in recognising, controlling and minimising health and safety risks in the workplace, is designed to be compatible with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, which the Halesowen plant achieved in 2010 and 2011 respectively.
Mapei UK follows in the footsteps of many Mapei production facilities across the world in gaining OHSAS 18001 certification. This achievement demonstrates Mapeis commitment to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all their employees in the UK and is key to Mapeis international philosophy in its quest for excellence. Mapeis worldwide objective is to reach a position of leadership across all of its 15 product markets, and its management systems recognise its ethic and social responsibilities.
