Sustainable Product of the Week: GreenScreen® Roller Blind Collection

Each week we will choose a different product to feature on our blog as the Barbour Product Search Product of the Week. As this week is Sustainability Week at Barbour Product Search we have chosen the GreenScreen® Roller Blind Collection from Hunter Douglas.

Sustainable Features:
GreenScreen® Roller Blind Collection • Compliant with the internationally recognised Greencode classification scheme for environment-friendly textiles
• Contributes to the LEED certification of buildings
• GreenScreen® Eco - made from 100% recyclable polyester fibres
• GreenScreen® Revive™ - made from recycled plastic bottles

Product Description:

The GreenScreen® roller blind collection includes GreenScreen® Eco and GreenScreen® Revive™.

GreenScreen® Eco is a material consisting entirely of polyester fibres meaning that after usage the fabric can be melted down without the need for waste separation and used as raw material for other products. GreenScreen® Eco has been awarded Cradle-to-Cradle certification for this product property.

GreenScreen® Revive™ is manufactured from PVC-free recycled plastic bottles. The roller blinds are also fully recyclable after usage.

All of the GreenScreen® product lines are compliant with the internationally recognised Greencode classification scheme for environment-friendly textiles. They also contribute to the LEED certification of buildings.
