Wallbarn have recommended a number of their heavy-duty Megapads for some decking on the first storey of a building in Chicago.

The windows were originally opening out on to the roof were positioned considerably higher than the rooftop itself.

The Megapads ranging from 711mm to 876mm accounted for the gradual fall in the roof.

The client chose not to envelope the pedestals because he felt they lent an industrial look in keeping with downtown Chicago.
