Wallbarn boasts the largest range of pedestals in the UK. They cover heights from 5mm to 1,025mm over a number of different ranges that are best suited to your project:

Fixed Height
Specially designed for areas with restricted height thresholds, these products raise paving or decking off the surface and are available in heights of 5mm, 7mm, 9mm, 14mm, and 17mm.

Minipad Range
Need an ultra-low height threshold but still require adjustment? Try the Minipad range - Wallbarn’s efficient alternative to fixed height pads, ideal for overlaying and retrofitting. It covers heights from 10mm to 40mm with just three products: 10-25mm, 22-30mm, and 28-40mm.

Universal Range
This is Wallbarn’s cost-effective standard range of adjustable supports. The universal headpiece has lugs designed to accommodate both paving slabs and timber decking joists, covering height ranges from 35mm to 380mm.

• Suitable for both paving and decking applications.
• Supports up to 683kg, with a break point of over 1 tonne.
• Can be installed in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +75°C.
• Made from high-quality virgin polypropylene.

Balance Range - self levelling
The Balance self-levelling range are designed to counteract unevenness in the underlying deck surface, smoothing out imperfections such as felt overlaps or variations in paving slab thickness to create a level upper surface.

• Can handle slopes/falls of up to 5% (1 in 20 / 2.86°)
• Each pedestal is capable of supporting up to 683kg.
• Install in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +75°C.

Mega Balance Range
The Mega Balance self-levelling range offers all the benefits of the Balance Range with an enhanced weight tolerance of over 3 tonnes per pedestal. Its universal headpiece is ideal for both paving and decking applications and can accommodate Wallbarn’s aluminium joists/rails without mechanical fixing—simply click them into place. The range covers heights from 25mm to 1,025mm.

Key Advantages:
• Suitable for paving, decking, or as part of the Wallbarn Rail system.
• Handles slopes/falls of up to 5% (1 in 20 / 2.86°).
• The Mega Balance Key allows height adjustments after tiles or slabs are laid.
• Headpiece lugs create a 4mm gap for drainage.
• All Wallbarn aluminium joists/rails click securely into the universal headpiece.

Gravity System
The Gravity System is an advanced solution for raised external flooring, designed to meet complex installation requirements with greater safety, stability and flexibility. Built around the Gravity Grid and used with Wallbarn’s Mega Balance pedestals, the system creates a fully supported surface that helps reduce the risk of tile breakage, improves resistance to wind uplift and allows post-installation inspection and height adjustment from above. Gravity System can accommodate a wide range of finishes, including multi-format paving and artificial grass.

Pedestal Accessories
Wallbarn have developed a number of accessories to help you create a perfect finish or to help get over issues only discovered when on site. These include:

• Border Shield – Perimeter anti-tipping system for suspended paving. It connects directly to Mega Balance pedestal heads to provide continuous support beneath perimeter paving, helping prevent slabs or tiles tipping or shifting at exposed edges while maintaining open joints for drainage and ventilation.
• Perimeter Edge Panel Kit – A two-part perimeter support system for exposed paving edges, corners and vertical risers. Designed for use with Mega Balance pedestals, it supports perimeter tiles and slabs right up to the edge and provides bonding surfaces for a secure, stable finish.
• Metal Edge Plate – Create a drainage gap when paving up to walls.
• Acoustic Pad – For protection and acoustic insulation. Noise and vibration to the subfloor.
• Pedestal column extender – When heights were not correct and only discovered on site, these add extra height and there is no need to exchange product, causing loss of time.
• Levelling Shims – A must on any project. These come in 1 & 2mm heights and are placed between the head of the pedestal and the paver to prevent any rocking.
• Cross Spacers – Loose fitting lug/spacers to create a 3mm, 4mm or 5mm gap between slabs or tiles.
