Wallbarn has provided their iDecking system for a refurbishment project at the Dunalastair Hotel. Developer Henley Homes wanted to make better use of the ample outside courtyard spaces around the building, for functions and alfresco dining.

The project consisted of laying 119m2 of decking, in Wallbarn's exclusive iDecking colour, “denim”. The installers fitted a framework of joist beams to take the weight of the decking and cross fixed them to achieve a strong, durable and sturdy frame.

Wallbarn pedestals were used in this project; they were secured to the concrete slab, beneath the deck, in order to give the deck strength and also to provide sufficient drainage capabilities, in the most extreme of weather. The iDecking was then laid onto the pedestals using Wallbarn's exclusive “EasyClick”, decking solution.
