Eurocell has partnered with Windowmaker to support the development of a new U-value and G-value calculation solution designed to help fabricators prepare for the Future Homes Standard and more detailed new-build compliance requirements.

Integrated into Windowmaker’s existing compliance and quoting software, the solution gives fabricators access to verified Eurocell thermal-performance data within their established workflows.

Supporting more detailed performance calculations
The move to the Home Energy Model is expected to increase demand for product-specific performance information. Rather than relying on a single calculation across multiple window configurations, fabricators will increasingly need to provide individual U-value and G-value calculations for each frame specification.

To support this change, Eurocell has worked with Windowmaker for more than two years to integrate over 10,000 validated data points covering its window and door systems.
As a product configuration changes, the software automatically recalculates:

• U-values
• G-values
• Frame factors

This helps fabricators produce accurate performance information more efficiently, reducing manual calculations and the administrative burden associated with compliance and certification.

Compliance integrated into existing workflows
Because the Eurocell data is embedded directly within Windowmaker, calculations can form part of the normal design, estimating and quotation process. This enables fabricators to assess performance as products are configured rather than completing a separate calculation exercise later.
